Inverter RFQ checks
A reviewable RFQ ties the full model to the array, AC/grid system, battery/backup duty, site environment and current evidence package.
Operating role and project scale
State residential or C&I string, utility plant, hybrid/storage or MV skid use; identify grid export, zero-export, backup and plant-controller requirements without transferring functions across families.
PV and MPPT design
Provide module data, temperatures, string length/count, orientations and shading; verify cold Voc, hot Vmp, Isc/Imp, maximum DC voltage, MPPT window, input current and string allocation for the exact model.
AC, grid and destination
Provide phase, nominal voltage/frequency, service/transformer/MV arrangement, grounding, export limits, grid requirements and authority/listing evidence required for the full US model and firmware.
Battery and backup interface
For S6 EH routes, provide exact battery model, LV/HV window, usable energy, BMS protocol and firmware plus critical loads, continuous/peak output, transfer, neutral/grounding, generator or parallel scope.
Protection, monitoring and site
Confirm integrated/external DC/AC protection, shutdown or AFCI functions where required, meters/CTs, datalogger, plant controls, communications, ambient/altitude, enclosure and service clearances.
Documents and commercial release
Request the exact datasheet, manual, compatibility evidence, listing/certificate references, firmware/settings, warranty, accessories, labels and serial traceability; confirm stock, lead time and substitution in writing.
