Growatt single-phase string-inverter family review

Growatt MIN 2500-6000TL-X and MIN 4200-6000TL-X2 Pro Inverters

This route combines three current Growatt datasheet families rather than one interchangeable model: seven MIN 2500-6000TL-X members, two MIN 4200-5000TL-X2 Pro E members and four MIN 4200-6000TL-X2 Pro members. The TL-X table uses two MPPT trackers and up to 13.5 A per tracker, X2 Pro E uses one 18 A tracker, and X2 Pro uses two 18 A trackers. Select the complete member and document set before quotation; the page is for grid-tied string inverters and does not establish battery compatibility.

Current source identity: three official Growatt datasheets dated May 2026. The MIN TL-X, X2 Pro E and X2 Pro tables have different model ranges, tracker counts, PV-current limits, protection and warranty rows and must remain separate.

Current document status

The official route provides current datasheets plus manuals and destination-specific certificates covering different suffixes and model patterns. Before order release, obtain the exact full model and suffix, current manual and certificate schedule, grid profile, AFCI/DC-switch ordering status, connectors, logger/meter, export-control design, firmware and warranty for the destination.

Current family evidence

Preserve the TL-X, X2 Pro E and X2 Pro model boundaries

The shared enclosure and 98.4% family headline do not make the three electrical tables equivalent.

MIN 2500-6000TL-X

The table lists 2.5, 3, 3.6, 4.2, 4.6, 5 and 6 kW members, two MPPT trackers, one string per tracker and up to 13.5 A operating current per tracker on the latest stated version.

MIN 4200-5000TL-X2 Pro E

This two-member table has one MPPT tracker and one string, 18 A operating current, optional DC switch, Type II DC and Type III AC surge rows and a 160-300 V AC range.

MIN 4200-6000TL-X2 Pro

This four-member table has two MPPT trackers, one string per tracker and 18 A per tracker. Its listed AC range, protection rows and model coverage must not be borrowed from Pro E.

Grid-tied product role

These released tables describe single-phase PV string inverters. Similar MIN-XH names are separate battery-ready products with their own battery, backup and certification evidence.

Residential PV inverter RFQ inputs

Six checks before selecting a MIN family member

PV strings, grid conditions and option codes must map to one exact released column.

Full model and destination

State TL-X, X2 Pro E or X2 Pro, exact kW member, full suffix, country, utility, nominal voltage/frequency and required grid-code and safety evidence.

PV string schedule

Provide module Voc/Vmp/Isc/Imp, temperature coefficients, strings per tracker and orientation; check cold Voc, MPPT range, 18 A or 13.5 A limit and short-circuit allowance.

AC and export control

Confirm service voltage, conductor and breaker design, grounding, export limit, meter/CT model, communications and fail-safe behavior against local interconnection requirements.

Protection and options

Freeze DC switch, AFCI, surge protection, connector and accessory status by ordering code. Optional or family-specific rows are not standard equipment on every unit.

Monitoring and firmware

Define RS485/USB, Wi-Fi, RF, LAN or GPRS hardware, portal/account ownership, remote-control requirements and approved firmware/settings for the utility.

Files and commercial control

Request the current datasheet/manual, certificate model list, warranty term, packing, serial traceability, included accessories, quantity, lead time and written substitution rules.

Family and performance boundaries

Do not transfer tracker, battery or certification claims across MIN suffixes

The exact model column and destination document set remain controlling.

98.4% is a maximum

The TL-X table lists 98.2% for lower members and 98.4% from 4.2 kW upward; European efficiency also varies. Do not present one maximum as every operating-point result.

Tracker count changes

X2 Pro E has one tracker, while X2 Pro and TL-X have two. An array designed around two orientations cannot be assigned to Pro E without redesign.

No battery-ready inference

A similarly named MIN-XH route does not turn these TL-X/X2 Pro records into hybrid inverters. Battery voltage, BMS, charging and backup are not established here.

Certificates are destination-specific

A broad downloads list may include X, XE, XH, XA or other patterns. Require a certificate whose model schedule explicitly covers the ordered suffix and destination.

Growatt MIN family FAQ

Questions to close before releasing the inverter order

One full model and one matching document set should answer every technical claim.

Are TL-X, X2 Pro E and X2 Pro one interchangeable inverter?

No. They have separate tables and different model ranges, tracker counts, current limits and protection rows. Quote the complete family and member.

Do all models have two MPPT trackers?

No. The current X2 Pro E table shows one tracker; current TL-X and X2 Pro tables show two.

Is this page a battery-ready MIN-XH product?

No. The verified tables are grid-tied TL-X/X2 Pro families. Use a separate XH model record and battery evidence if storage is required.

What should the RFQ freeze?

Freeze full suffix, PV strings, grid/export design, DC switch and AFCI status, meter/logger, firmware, certificates, warranty, accessories and quantity.
